About Lee End Farm
The Shepherds Barn is part of the Longton family farm at Lee End, and Thomas Longton maintains the barn plus carries on the Longton family tradition of training, working and trialling his trained sheepdogs.

To discover more about the location of Lee End Farm, which sits within the Quernmore valley and forms part of Forest of Bowland AONB. Our farm is just 3 miles from Lancaster and the cottage is a great base for holidays, breaks and events.
It’s no coincidence Shepherds Barn in a dog friendly cottage as Thomas is an award winning shepherd and sheepdog trainer, and has won many sheepdog trials at the national level and co-authored a sheep dog training book.
Thomas provides guests with the opportunity to experience working with a sheepdog while they stay if they wish. This is often an fun and exciting experience, especially for families.
Shepherds barn is situated on the farm and along our private road. It is a place where, it’s a very memorable and usually satisfying activity, please speak to Thomas in advance for more details.
