Longton Sheepdogs
Thomas and Steven Longton carry on the Longton family tradition of training, working and trialling trained sheepdogs.
Thomas hosts Sheepdog displays and demonstrations with sheep/geese/ducks all over the British Isles. For over 20 years he has performed at shows large and small – from large country shows or small village fetes. They are both informative and amusing, especially when the ducks are misbehaving. Children like to see the ducks especially.
Thomas is an award winning shepherd and sheepdog trainer, and has won many sheepdog trials at the national and international level and co-authored a sheep dog training book. He has appeared on various Country TV shows on the BBC; including ‘One Man and His Dog’ (see at bottom of page for Thomas’ Training Profile).
