A family friendly, fabulous, spacious holiday cottage in a very tranquil setting. The luxury converted barn is to a modern open plan style and has 3 large en suite rooms that are ideal for self catering holidays and breaks.
Shepherds Barn is a large, luxury 5 star self catering holiday cottage which is dog friendly. The spacious cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and purposefully designed for relaxing breaks and holidays.
The three large en suite rooms are finished to the highest standards: master kingsize / family en suite (ground floor), double and twin (first floor) and all have unspoilt views out to the countryside and the Quernmore valley part of the Forest of Bowland ANOB.
The converted barn combines modern convenience with impressive architectural design and original character elements. Kept spotlessly clean, this is a uniquely charming holiday rental that provides rural tranquility and wonderful views yet is only miles from Lancaster. Guests will find ample self-catering facilities from the kitchen AGA to the large lounge diningroom.
The cottage is pet friendly and dogs can stay at no additional cost either inside the cottage, or outside in the garden’s external kennel block.
Being such a substantial property it and suits all types of holiday, from family breaks and meet ups and get togethers for fun or events with parties (birthday, christening/baptism, graduation, retirement), to cosy romantic breaks for 2. It is also very popular with friendship groups and business events and functions that require accommodation and group scale facilities.
Located at the end of ¼ mile private road up to the farm ensures the cottage enjoys a high degree of privacy and tranquility. This is especially from the rear garden patio and double enclosed walled side garden.

Additional information: Wi-Fi throughout and private parking area for 3 cars. The barn is non-smoking accommodation. There are no landlines in the cottage, though mobile phones usually have coverage. The main farmhouse has a landline in case of emergencies. The utility room has a washing machine and rack drying facilities.
*The gas fires are all run with bottle gas which is included in the price. However, due to ever increasing gas prices, it will be necessary to charge for any extra bottles.
